Associate Fellowship Scheme (AFS) - Completed ✅

The Associate Fellowship Scheme (AFS) is a one-year, 30 credit, part-time programme designed for Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs) and staff members at the University of Kent. Successful completion of the AFS leads to recognition as an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (now Advance HE), a valuable professional qualification widely recognised across UK higher education for teaching excellence and commitment to best practices in learning and teaching.

Completion Status: Successfully completed the AFS programme by passing both required modules:

  • Created power point presentations for every single class to provide students with a good recap of the content before attempting the worksheets
  • Provided one-on-one support during practical sessions
